Excellent breeding material was swiftly snapped up by buyers at the Ivukile Beefmasters production auction.
A Droughtmaster bull was sold for R85 000 to Michael and Daniel Edwards of the Grijskop Trust, Rouxville. Bulls achieved an average price of R54 600 and heifers averaged R17 480. The auction was conducted by OVK at AC de Klerk’s Strydfontein farm in Aliwal North, with Gareth Hughes serving as the auctioneer.
