Dr Sieg Snapp, director of the sustainable agrifood systems programme at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT),and Chris Burgess, editor-in-chief of Landbouweekblad, discussed the 9th World Congress on Conservation Agriculture.
Snapp highlighted CIMMYT’s strong interest in mechanisation as part of conservation agriculture. She also emphasised that the congress brought significant attention not only to mechanisation but also to soil health.
