Top honours went to Douglas Fletcher from Mooi River who sold a cracking Black Angus bull, Tashinga DF 210013, to Guldenvrug Farm in Bashewa for R160 000.
The Black Angus bulls sold at an average price of R65 000.
Top price for a Red Angus bull was achieved by Rob Kleinloog of the Netherwood Stud in Nottingham Road, who sold the bull Netherwood RK 210104 to Koocha Boerdery from Memel for R120 000.
The Red Angus bulls averaged R56 000.
Top priced registered heifer of R50 000 went to Martin Watson’s JOC Angus Stud. Three other Red Angus heifers sold for R40 000 a piece.
Commercial in calf heifers averaged R17 500.
Farmers Livestock Agents hosted the auction and the auctioneer was Andrew Miller.
