New African Agri Council (AAC) initiatives to advance the agricultural sector aim to support farmers, improve food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices. The AAC will host an indaba in Cape Town in November to attract investments to the sector.
With four weeks left until the African Agri Investment Indaba, now is the perfect time to book your place. Join us from 18-20 November at Cape Town International Convention Centre for the 7th annual conference.
This year’s theme, Achieving Extraordinary Growth, will explore key topics shaping the future of agriculture:
- Macro-economic trends: how to influence the financial side of the food, beverage and agricultural sectors.
- Improving South Africa’s livestock industry: export opportunities.
- Funding strategies: business planning and development.
- Strategic partnerships.
- How to successfully acquire capital.
- Meeting ESG targets.
- Future investment prospects in agritechnology.
- Sessions targeting specific countries, such as Kenya, Ghana and Zambia.
According to the AAC, the event will offer valuable insights to help the sector and stakeholders overcome challenges and seize opportunities in Africa’s agricultural sector.
The African Agri Investment Indaba also offers the opportunity to network with more than 800 participants and about 300 key investors from 21 countries. The indaba will also focus on:
- Expert insights: gain knowledge about macroeconomic trends and investment opportunities in African agriculture.
- Funding strategies: learn how to attract funding with specialised sessions on business planning.
- Partnership opportunities: discover partnerships that maximise returns, especially in Zambia’s commercial agriculture.
- Real examples: Explore how agri-technology companies have successfully raised capital.
