Good breeding bulls were offered at the Modderpoort Beefmasters production auction of Ras van Pletzen. It was held on 3 October at the Rouxville Farmers’ Association auction pens.
The most expensive bull at the auction, MPBM 210040 (lot 3), was sold for R80 000 to Elsabe and Elsje Human from Bloemfontein.

Philip Heyns from the farm Groenpoort near Rouxville bought the second most expensive bull, MPBM 210027 (lot 10), for R60 000, while lot 12 was sold for R55 000 to Rupert Potgieter from the farm Glengyle, Barkly East. The average price of bulls was R45 409.

The auction was presented by Vleissentraal. The auctioneer was André van Zyl.
