Lesch Farming of Lood and Ida Lesch’s complete clearance sale auction took place at the farm Elandsvalley, Bronkhorstspruit.
The most expensive bull was LJL1753 (lot 10), which was sold for R62 000 to Frans Mlalelincube from Linmeyer. The most expensive cow, LJL1831 (lot 40), was sold for R30 000 to IA Peer of GMA Peer Family Trust from Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal.
LJL236 was the most expensive cow with a calf at the auction. They were sold for R40 000 to Pieter Meiring from Groblersdal, while the most expensive heifer, LJL198 (lot 17), was sold to Gert Davis from Delmas for R28 000.
The average price of bulls was R37 875, cows R24 812.50, cows with calves R30 727.27, and open heifers R16 000.
