Thirty-year-old Maneo Lipali had to adapt rapidly when she married into a farming family in Marquard, Free State. Maneo had to give up her aspiration of working in the financial sector and swiftly acquire agricultural knowledge. She has demonstrated that she is a fast learner and has become one of the most promising young black female farmers. Lebogang Mashala spoke to Maneo at the family farm near Senekal.
