Just five years after beginning her career in the wine industry, Nongcebo Langa, 30, was named the prestigious Diner’s Club Young Winemaker of the Year. Growing up in Imbali township in Pietermaritzburg, an area not typically associated with wine, Langa achieved this recognition as the winemaker at Delheim. She won the award for the Delheim Gewürztraminer 2022, a relatively rare variety that this Stellenbosch estate is well-known for.
