Pannar Seed, in partnership with Ya-Rona Temo, the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD), and Grain SA, hosted a farmers’ day to officially launch the 2024/25 planting season for grain farmers in Gauteng.
The event took place at Amos Njoro’s farm, Ya-Rona Temo Farm, in Vanderbijlpark. It brought together farmers and industry experts and showcased innovative solutions to mark the beginning of what is anticipated to be a successful season.
The day featured planting demonstrations, networking opportunities, and informative discussions. Various presenters from Pannar Seed, GDARD, and Ya-Rona Temo shared advice with farmers on agronomy, seed cultivar selection, enhancing crop performance, budgeting, and planning for grain production.
