The world-renowned pig and poultry production technologies company, Big Dutchman, was again an unmissable presence at the EuroTier 2024 exhibition held recently in Hannover, Germany. Its eye-catching 1 985 m2 indoor stand showcased 50 categories of innovations encompassing the production of layers, broilers, pigs and even insects, as well solar energy and its storage. Big Dutchman presented six brand new innovations at EuroTier 2024, of which three earned a prestigious silver medal. African Farming and Landbouweekblad’s Lloyd Phillips once again attended the latest EuroTier where he got the impressions of Big Dutchman Southern Africa’s sales director, Scott Wiggill, on the exhibition, his company’s technologies and their relevance to Southern Africa’s farmers.
