Meet Molatek farmer Matholengwe Monwabisi who farms in the Kei Mouth area. He started farming in 1997 after growing up on the communal farm that his father ran. He farms mostly with the Brahman breed, after realising that livestock farming would be more profitable than the unpredictable nature of vegetable farming.
During winter, he uses Molatek’s Protein Lick 40 as it maintains the condition of his cattle when the grass is dry. During the warmer summer months, when grazing has less nutrients, he uses Molatek Fosblock.
