Beefmaster Group recently honoured 60 long-serving employees across its operations in Kimberley and Kempton Park, with Abram Liau Sello recognised for an exceptional 35-year milestone with the business.
In Kimberly, where Beefmaster Group is the largest private sector employer, 54 long-serving staff members were celebrated from its meat processing facility as well as its feedlot in Christiana.
In Kempton Park, six Beefmaster Retail employees were honoured for a 15 year-service milestone.
“These ceremonies are more than just recognition events – they’re a celebration of the incredible individuals who have contributed to making Beefmaster Group what it is today,” said Cindy Nkgoeng, HR Manager at Beefmaster Group.
Nkgoeng said many of these individuals started in entry-level positions and advanced to management roles, highlighting Beefmaster Group’s commitment to nurturing talent from within, providing comprehensive training programmes, mentorship opportunities, and clear advancement pathways.
“As a significant employer in Central South Africa, the long-term economic impact of employment extends far beyond individual careers, creating a ripple effect throughout our local communities by providing stable income, skills development, and career advancement opportunities that help sustain families and stimulate regional economic growth,” said Nkgoeng.
