African Farming hosted a group of farmers from the Free State and North West at the 2025 Regenerative Agriculture Conference in Reitz, Free State. The event was organised by Landbouweekblad, our sister publication, and the Riemland Study Group.
The conference addressed several pressing challenges facing farmers today, including unpredictable weather patterns, rising input costs, water shortages and declining soil fertility. The focus was on sustainable agriculture, teaching farmers how to work in harmony with nature to build resilient and profitable farming systems.
