🌧️ A RIDGING HIGH-PRESSURE system, combined with a COASTAL LOW off the KwaZulu-Natal coast and a CUT-OFF LOW in the upper-air, will continue to bring COLD and WET weather to parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.
🌩️ An INFLUX OF MOISTURE from the north will result in ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSHOWERS over the north-eastern regions of South Africa, where it will become COOLER this WEDNESDAY.
❄️ FREEZING LEVELS are expected to drop significantly, with MORE THAN 5CM OF SNOW likely overnight into Wednesday morning over the mountains in the eastern half of LESOTHO — particularly around AFRISKI and SANI PASS.

🟡 Yellow Level 4: Disruptive rainfall resulting in flooding of roads and settlements (formal and informal) and major disruption of traffic flow due to major roads being flooded or closed is expected over most parts of KwaZulu Natal except in the north-east.
🟡Yellow Level 2: Disruptive Rain resulting in heavy downpours which will lead to flooding of susceptible areas, roads and bridges, localized damage to properties and temporal disruptions of municipal services is expected over the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape and adjacent interior.
