On Wednesday, at the ExpoZebu 2025 exhibition, African Farming visited ABS Genetics Brazil’s bull farm in the Uberaba district. The facility’s foreign trade coordinator, Dr Paula Waeny, talks about its 200 bulls, its progressive genetic research and resulting commercial products, and how it can benefit South Africa’s beef and dairy industries. Established in 2020, African Farming aims to support black commercial farming in South Africa by providing informative and inspiring content and creating communication and education channels to help farmers develop and grow.
