De Beers Venetia Mine invite existing farmers within the Blouberg and Musina Local Municipality for the 2025 Rural Farmer Capacity Development Programme.
According to De Beers, the programme seeks to enhance the lives of local rural communities by creating jobs along the agriculture value chain, and improving food security, through increased and improved food production within its labour-spending areas.
- The farmers must be willing to be developed for over a period of 12 months and farms must be 100% black-owned and managed.
- Applicants must have access to 5ha of land or more and must provide PTO or lease agreement for land use.
- Furthermore, applicants must be farmers with an average income less than R100 000 per annum and must have sufficient water supply.
- Motivation letter: Applicants must include a letter explaining why they should join the development programme.
- Company registration documents:
• Registration certificate
• Business profile
• Tax clearance certificate
• Valid BBBEE affidavit
• ID copies of all directors
• Proof of residence from municipality or Tribal office.

All submissions should be clearly marked with reference number EOI-VEN-LIMA-2025 and sent to the designated De Beers Venetia Mine Drop boxes in Blouberg and Musina or emailed to Lehlogonolo Momkgomme at bloubergadmin@lima.org.za
