Nampo Harvest Day 2025 was a key opportunity for Jacto to showcase its implements, such as the 3030 Vortex, as well as its broader agricultural solutions to farmers. At the same time, the company reinforced its commitment to Africa.

Jacto’s equipment – which includes self-propelled sprayers and fertiliser applicators – has been available to South African farmers for more than 40 years. This Brazilian company has built a solid presence in the local market, one that has continued to grow each year. That is why Jacto’s presence at the 2025 Nampo Harvest Day focused on reinforcing its commitment to the African market while highlighting its innovative spraying technology.

Visitors to Jacto’s stand encountered a range of agricultural equipment designed to boost on-farm productivity. “We showcased our portfolio of implements, services, and agricultural solutions, including the self-propelled Uniport sprayer range, as well as boom sprayers and portable equipment,” said Edson Bueno, Jacto’s International Sales Manager.

Among the sprayers on display in the Uniport range were the 3030 Vortex and the 4530, featuring boom widths of 42 meters.

Through the exhibition, the company aimed to engage directly with farmers and share practical insights into the application of its technologies across diverse agricultural environments.

“Rather than launching new products, Jacto focused on raising awareness of existing technologies while offering attractive financial options,” Edson said. “Our goal at Nampo was to strengthen understanding of the technologies in Jacto equipment and to provide farmers with the best payment terms. We offered highly competitive pricing.”

Focus on the Uniport 3030 Vortex

The centrepiece of Jacto’s display was the self-propelled Uniport 3030 Vortex sprayer. According to Edson, this sprayer addressed specific regional needs. “We showcased the Uniport 3030 Vortex sprayer at Nampo 2025. It is a versatile sprayer that adapts to different types of terrain—an essential feature on the African continent.”

The sprayer offered significant operational advantages. “Its spray speed of up to 35km/h led to higher productivity. It could increase yield by up to 35% and reduce fuel consumption by 35%.”

He also highlighted the Condor sprayer range, which farmers were able to explore at the event. “The Condor range is equipped with the Multicontrol system. This technology manages all spraying operations and ensures correct volume application, regardless of speed variation. Combined with the sprayer’s high operational capacity, this helps save agricultural chemicals.”

Commitment to Africa

Jacto’s participation at Nampo 2025 underscored its dedication to the African agricultural sector. “We have been present in South Africa for over 40 years, and we continue to invest in the African market, which is gaining momentum across a wide variety of agricultural segments,” said Edson. “In addition to market development, we strengthened our investment in human resources by hiring local staff. We currently have sales representatives in every region of the continent.”

Future goals

Looking ahead to 2025, Jacto set clear objectives for the South African market. Edson stated their primary goal was to increase Jacto’s market share and enhance the overall customer experience. With nearly eight decades of operational experience, Jacto brought significant expertise to the agricultural sector.

“As a company founded 77 years ago and a market leader in spraying equipment, Jacto has made its expertise available globally, including in other agricultural areas such as planting, fertiliser application, farming services, and solutions,” Edson said.

He emphasised what sets the company apart from its competitors: “Beyond offering a complete portfolio of technologies for small, medium, and large-scale farmers, one of Jacto’s key differentiators is its excellence in after-sales service, supported by local dealers and continued investment in customer experience.”
