🥶 A CUT-OFF LOW moving over South Africa will bring cold, wet, and windy conditions to parts of the country from Thursday into Friday. Freezing levels will drop sharply from Thursday, with light snow possible over the high-lying areas of the Cape Provinces, southern Drakensberg, and Lesotho

🟡Yellow Level 4: Disruptive rainfall leading to flooding of roads and danger to life due to fast-flowing streams over low-lying bridges is expected over the western parts of the Western Cape.
🟡Yellow Level 1: Damaging winds leading to localised damage to settlements (formal and informal) as well as risk of localised runaway fires are expected over the extreme south-western parts of the Northwest, the extreme south-eastern part of the Northern Cape and the western parts of the Free State.
🟡Yellow Level 1: Severe thunderstorms with large amounts of small hail, damaging winds and excessive lightning leading to localised damage to settlements, falling trees and flying debris are expected in places over the northern parts of the Eastern Cape.
