Legendary veterinarian and good friend of the African Farming community, Dr Faffa Malan, is celebrating his 80th birthday today, 5 July.
Our farmers got to know Doc Faffa, as he is affectionately referred to, at our farmers’ days and workshops where he gives lectures on disease prevention and cures, as well as biosecurity. He is known for always going the extra mile for farmers and always being willing to help and give advice.
A celebration was held in his honour in Pretoria yesterday. African Farming chatted to him about his career and his special connection with new-era farmers.
