Craig Carter of Red Meat Industry Services (RMIS) spoke about the importance of traceability in the livestock industry, especially now that the country is battling with foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreaks – particularly in KwaZulu-Natal, where several areas have been declared Disease Management Areas (DMA).
