Sandile Ntamane of Land Bank highlighted some of the progress made in blended finance. He said Land Bank is running a pilot project where they are testing an aggregation model. Basically, they grouped together smallholder farmers planting the same crop in an area to fund them as a group. Land Bank has secured a market with several processors and retailers as a way to support these smallholder farmers.
