Three worthy winners were announced tonight at the Phahama Grain Phakama (PGP)/Grain SA Development Programme Awards at Nampo Park.
The Grain SA Smallholder Farmer of the Year award went to Itumeleng Naphtaly Mongane from North West.

The Grain SA Subsistence Farmer of the Year award went to Rameshego Sarah Mahladi from Limpopo. The award comes with a Piket implements 2-row no-till maize planter.

The Grain SA Potential New Era Farmer of the Year award went to Madinda Jabulani Matshinini of the Free State.

Grain SA’s Phahama Grain Phakama (PGP) hosted the inaugural Ukukhula Conference and Day of Celebration at Nampo Park today. This landmark event combined two historic moments into one integrated programme on South Africa’s agricultural calendar.
