🥵🔥 HOTTEST DAY OF THE HEATWAVE EXPECTED THIS WEDNESDAY!
Very hot temperatures will continue across parts of the western Namakwa District, as well as the west and south-western parts of the Western Cape, the Little Karoo, Central Karoo and Garden Route From Thursday to Saturday, the heat is expected to spread further into the western parts of the Eastern Cape

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS: 🔥 Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the extreme western parts of the country
Very high temperatures expected over:
- Western parts of Namakwa District and Western Cape (including Little Karoo, Central Karoo & Garden Route) until Thursday
- Western interior of the EC from Thursday to Saturday
🌡️ Cause: A strong high-pressure system over northern South Africa is trapping heat, creating extreme hot and dry conditions.

- Avoid the midday sun
- Schools should avoid outdoor activities or sports for children during this heat.
