For respected young farmer and entrepreneur Sizo Tshabalala, attending Nampo Harvest Day 2026 for the very first time was not just about walking through exhibition stands – it was about stepping into bigger opportunities, stronger networks and a greater vision for the future of agriculture.

Originally from Elukwatini, Tshabalala, who farms with eggs and Boerbok goats, described the experience as powerful, inspiring, and necessary for young farmers determined to grow beyond the ordinary.
“It’s my first time attending Nampo, and it has been an incredible experience,” he shared. “I’ve connected with farmers, industry leaders and businesspeople. The networking and learning opportunities here are on another level.”
Known for his passion, humility and forward-thinking mindset, Tshabalala represents a new generation of young farmers who are not only focused on production, but also on innovation, branding and creating opportunities beyond the farm gate.
One of the standout moments during Nampo was Tshabalala intentionally wearing a pair of shoes designed together with his business partner under their upcoming brand, Seeta Africa.
“This was intentional because I wanted to test the comfort of the shoe while walking around Nampo the whole day,” he explained. “We are preparing for the launch of Seeta Africa, so this was part of understanding and experiencing the product properly.”

For Tshabalala, platforms like Nampo are spaces where dreams expand, partnerships are formed and young farmers begin to see the limitless possibilities within agriculture.
“I encourage people to come to Nampo because it’s the perfect place to learn, network, connect with other farmers and meet leaders within the industry,” he said.

As he looks ahead, Tshabalala hopes future visits to Nampo will expose him to even greater opportunities and meaningful relationships that will continue shaping his journey.
“My hope is that when I return again in future, I’ll get the opportunity to connect with even more people and experience even more of what Nampo has to offer,” he added.
As thousands gather at Nampo 2026, young visionaries like Tshabalala continue to prove that modern agriculture is no longer only about farming the land but also about building brands, creating influence, inspiring communities and redefining what success in agriculture looks like for the next generation.
