🌧️ 💨 Ahead of a cold front, north-westerly winds are expected to strengthen along the Western Cape coast and across the western and central parts of South Africa.
🌧️By late afternoon, the cold front will make landfall over the Western Cape, bringing scattered showers overnight into Friday morning.

🟡 Yellow Level 1: Damaging wind resulting in localised damaged to informal and formal settlements, falling trees as well as power and communication interruptions is expected in places over the north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape.

Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected over the southern parts of the Namakwa District in the Northern Cape and well as over the Witzenberg Municipality in the Western Cape on Friday (12/06/2026).
