De Klerk established the Ivukile Beefmaster stud in 1989 and has also operated the Valley Droughtmaster stud for the past 16 years. Ivukile is the Xhosa word for “to rise”, and this herd is kept on Strydfontein. The Valley herd is kept on the farm Wonderpoort near Burgersdorp. The two herds are jointly marketed under the Bulls Eye Genetics brand.
Two Beefmaster bulls achieved the highest price of R100 000 each. Lot 4 (FCK230150) was sold to Dolf Naudé of Makwassie, while lot 5 (FCK230142) was bought by Cobus Barnard of St Marc at Zastron.
Among the Droughtmasters, lot 13 (VOA 220053) was the most expensive bull. It sold for R90 000 to Francois Barnard of Badsfontein at Venterstad. Two other Droughtmaster bulls sold for R85 000 each to Quinten Wiehahn of Bamboeshoek, Dordrecht, and Kobus Breytenbach of Koesberg near Zastron.
The 16 Beefmaster bulls achieved an average price of R78 714, an improvement on the 2025 average of R70 714. The 10 Droughtmaster bulls sold at an average price of R72 143.
