4th annual Cactus Pear Festival

The festival is held in celebration of this wonder-plant.

As one of the fastest growing Agri-festivals in South Africa, we aim to have more current and future Cactus Pear farmers at the festival in 2025. In the past, we have had demonstrations by cactus pear farmer and short lectures by the UFS academics. We hope to do the more of same in 2025 and expand the festival.
