Regular and deep cleaning of solar panels is essential to get the most out of your solar system (and meet warranty requirements). Stihl’s new telescopic extension is an essential piece of equipment that attaches to your Stihl pressure washer. The length can be adjusted with three clips from 1,57m to 4m, and the working angle can also be easily changed. This ensures that all areas of your solar system can be easily kept clean and that it functions at optimal levels.

The integrated high-pressure point of the extension piece has a quick-connect mechanism that ensures a simple, quick connection to the high-pressure cleaner. The light weight of only 2,9kg (including the carrying harness) and soft-grip handle means operators can work comfortably and efficiently for long periods.

The extension piece is made of durable plastic and can be easily connected to a wide range of additional cleaning accessories. These accessories have been specially developed for many uses on different surfaces. In this way, the RA 110 surface cleaner can be used for horizontal areas, such as floors, and vertical surfaces, such as walls. The large spray cap prevents nearby objects and surfaces from being sprayed as well.

The extension is ideal when larger areas, such as solar panels, need to be cleaned. It is suitable for use with the Stihl high-pressure cleaning models RE 80 to RE 170.

A robust and powerful example is the RE 130. It features a durable 9m steel-reinforced high-pressure pipe, a particularly long spray, telescopic aluminium handle and a brushless, high-efficiency operation that requires little maintenance.

A storage compartment on the side of the cleaner makes it quick and convenient to store the integrated extension and power cable when not in use.

Perfect for the farm

There are always areas where dust and organic debris accumulate, especially on a farm. When husbandry and hygiene are involved, deep cleaning is essential to prevent animal stress and disease. For this, the spray and high-pressure cleaner combination is ideal for super cleaning animal pens, troughs, dairy floors, sheds and workshops (inside and outside), gutters, roofs and high windows.

Another useful Stihl product is the vehicle cleaning kit that removes dust and mud and leaves vehicles looking as good as new. It can also be used for quad bikes, lawn mowers, boats and other equipment.

The kit, which can be used with all Stihl RE high pressure cleaning models, includes a washing brush, 90° angle nozzle and flat jet nozzle. The washing brush, with its integrated window washer, helps remove water residue, while the angled nozzle enables access to previously hard-to-reach places. The flat jet nozzle also cleans a wider area than the standard nozzle.
