Applications have opened for this year’s Women in Ag Awards, which will be awarded at Agritechnica in Germany later this year. 

The awards are presented by the German Agriculture Society and Women in Ag, which is the only international digital magazine dedicated to women in agriculture.

This year will be the second time that the awards are presented. The award celebrates female farmers, as well as women in agricultural businesses, research, engineering and teaching. 

The awards will be presented on 15 November during Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany.

Applications for the awards close on 15 August. Women across the world who are involved in the agriculture sector are invited to apply. Candidates can apply themselves or be nominated by someone else.

The criteria for the award include innovative work approaches, as well as the impact that it has on the agriculture community, both locally and worldwide.
