Farmer harvest cabbage much faster with mechanical ‘arm’

Farmer Deon Botha made this clever plan to harvest cabbage up to 50% faster than in the conventional way. Workers walk behind the eight meter long mechanical “arm” that he built, chop the heads of cabbage and put it on the “arm”, that transports the cabbage with a conveyor belt to the trailer. This is not the kind of mechanisation that replaces workers, but mechanisation that makes workers more productive.
