Good breeding stock at Beefpower Braford production auction

On Thursday 12 September, OVK hosted a production auction for the Beefpower Braford stud of Van Aardt and Faan Greyling at the Sundown Lodge in Aliwal North.

For such a young stud, the bulls were of good quality, and the breeding stock attracted buyers from all over. The most expensive bull, VAG 21176, was sold for R80 000 to Carl de Jager from the farm Trekboer near Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal.
