WATCH: KZN Midlands to host province’s first dairy festival

KwaZulu-Natal’s important primary dairy value chain has taken a leaf out of the Southern Cape’s book and decided to host its own dairy festival.

The KZN Milk Producers’ Organisation’s inaugural Dairy Fest is intended to celebrate the province’s dairy farmers, their employees, the milk they produce, the manufacturers of milk-based products, and these products as well.

Perhaps most importantly, the Dairy Fest aims to educate the public about the socio-economic value of the primary dairy value chain, and the health and enjoyment benefits of dairy products.

The event will take place on 31 August and 1 September at Fordoun Farm Village near Nottingham Road. Tickets are available at www.quicket.co.za using the search term KZN Dairy Fest.
